Early Learning: Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten
"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me.'"
Matthew 19:74
Each child is unique and is a special gift from God to be loved and nurtured. A caring Christian community provides a joyful atmosphere for a child’s early education. Glendale Lutheran School's Early Learning program focuses on the child. We believe that children learn best through their own discoveries, active individual and cooperative learning, questioning, and discussion..
Our programs for Early Learning students are structured around a continuum of new knowledge, skills, and behavioral expectations, and provide many opportunities for your child to grow personally as well as academically. Our teachers understand that the experiences children have during these formative years are crucial for future success in school and in life. They also understand just how important it is for each child to mature and grow at his or her own pace. Therefore, as teachers implement their carefully planned curriculum, they do so in ways that ensure each child is both successful and happy.Additionally, this program builds confidence and self-reliance, while developing important social skills.
What We Provide:
Ø A quality education with developmentally appropriate hands-on, active learning curriculum
Ø A caring, well qualified and dedicated staff
Ø Christian values both modeled and taught
